Senior Marketing Proposal Specialist

The Senior Marketing Specialist will provide strategic direction and implement marketing activities for the marketing department and support other departments/affiliates. This position will be responsible for executing a marketing plan, pursuit management, maintain and seek marketing data, providing direct support to the Life Sciences market needs associated with project opportunities, branding, events, programs and other miscellaneous tasks as needed. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of GBA Companies.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direction and implement marketing strategies and plans to align with marketing KPIs and company goalsPrepare and tailor content, proofing and editing requests for proposal (RFP) and qualification (RFQ) responsesMake recommendations and guidance for project pursuits to elevate our responsesCreate remarkable deliverables that are high quality, unique and creative for pursuits and other marketing purposesProduce high-end presentation materials and deliverables for internal purposes and project pursuitsSupport/lead the strategy and begin coaching teams during interview preparationsCreate, provide input and strategic direction for marketing collateral for business development and recruiting supportSeek information to write project descriptions, resumes, and gather photography and images to be maintained in the share drive and CRMMaintain and produce narratives to effectively market GBA companiesManage activities for trade show and events, including staff participation, sponsorship, coordination of giveaways, brochures and supporting entertainment, as neededAs needed, coordinate efforts for client entertainment events with our Business Development staff, as necessary including conference hospitality events and other business functionsProvide information to corporate communications team on events or projects for internal or external press releases, social media, The Grid, newsletters/e-blasts, etcAssist or develop copy for company website, campaign emails, social media, advertising, sales collateral, articles, testimonials, etc.Prepare, including writing, proofreading, and editing award submissionsEnsure high quality work by ensuring proper review and proofing has been completedApproaches work proactively, takes initiative, and consistency ensures ongoing improvementManage and protect the GBA Companies brandOther duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of marketing, or related experienceDegree in marketing, journalism, communications or relevant fieldExpertise with a variety of software programs, such as Adobe Creative Cloud - Photoshop, InDesign, and IllustratorExperience with CRM, preferably CosentialOutstanding organizational and time-management skillsExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenConsistently perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely mannerPositive attitude and timely response to feedback and employee requestsConsistently show ability to multitask and manage competing deadlinesProvide quality through attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTalent in presenting information concisely and accurately, with keen attention to detailIt•s More Than Just a Job•
