We contribute to Flyte, an open source platform for orchestrating massively scalable machine learning pipelines running on Kubernetes.These pipelines power some of the most popular apps on your phone, as well as applications in diverse industries such as song sharing, vaccine research, early cancer detection, global map rendering, financial projecting, and piloting autonomous vehicles.The OpportunityReporting into Product, we are seeking a Product Designer to help us enable highly technical users to quickly and intuitively analyze and gather insights from the Union Cloud platform. You will join and work closely with another Product Designer and various other team members across EST/PST
In this role, you will:Deliver artifacts that set the standard for design excellence, from ideation to prototypes and beyond
Develop strong working relationships with our customers and design partners to test and iterate on ideas in an ongoing conversation
Balance speed and risk, biasing towards an action-oriented agile approach, using wireframes to get quick alignment before investing in pixel-perfect mockups and prototypes.
You will turn data from market, industry trends, competitive analysis, and user experience research into user insights
Master crafting prototypes to communicate complex design concepts to users and project partners
Craft user workflow diagrams, prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs
Use the necessary soft skills to craft consensus, or working agreement, with stakeholders across multiple disciplines
You will ensure all relevant documentation is complete, current, and stored/ archived appropriately
About You:Minimum of 3-5 years experience in UI/UX design, preferably working on technical SaaS B2B products
Track record of designing user experiences and workflows that solve users needs
Ability to convey large amounts of information in an approachable, progressively exposed way
You have an interest in the devtools/data & ML space
Demonstrated success working closely with senior software engineers to understand user stories outside of your personal experience
Create ergonomic designs that are aesthetically pleasing and accessible to people of all abilities
