Position Overview:
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Bay & Lakes Region is seeking a dedicated and creative Marketing and Communications Coordinator. This role is responsible for developing and implementing our strategic marketing and communications plan, creating compelling messages and materials to educate, inspire, and engage a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing and Communications:
Create and/or coordinate the creation of marketing and promotional materials, including videos, direct mail, brochures, presentations, donor pieces, event materials, and newsletters.
Coordinate and utilize external vendors (printers, mail houses, etc.) as needed to execute our strategy effectively.
Build and maintain stakeholder lists to effectively share the Club’s story.
Coordinate the Club’s email marketing campaigns through Constant Contact.
Tell the Club’s story in a strength-based manner to parents, community members, donors, staff, community partners, and other audiences.
Develop event scripts, run of shows, and sponsor recognition.
Media Relations:
Actively seek opportunities to share BGCGB stories and expertise with the media.
Create and disseminate press releases to the media and community.
Assist with events, including planning, logistics, promotion, and onsite details, and lead specific events.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of public relations, marketing, or community engagement experience.
Polished professional presence with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Schedule:
M-F, 8:00am to 5:00pm
