We do that through commodity risk management that is tailored to each farmer’s individual operation and risk tolerance.Hurley & Associates offers employees a competitive benefits package with two health plan options, dental, vision, Basic and Voluntary Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, 401(k) Savings Plan, EAP, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability.General Summary of PositionThe Risk Management Consultant provides top notch disciplined and comprehensive marketing and risk management services to area producers to enable clients to realize economic stability and profitability.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProfessionalismUphold and exemplify Hurley’s mission and vision statementsRepresent Hurley & Associates with integrity and professionalismSet professional and personal example to Hurley offices and their clienteleNetwork in agricultural community with chambers, banks, associations, etc. to establish Hurley brand recognitionBuild & maintain solid business relationships/partnerships by developing trust and confidence with clientsRisk Management ServicesComplies with all CFTC, FCM and Hurley policies and guidelinesImplement and monitor Futures Regulations for complianceDevelop and implement marketing plans within overall Hurley philosophy for farm clients, taking into consideration their comfort zones in working with various toolsStay current on market knowledge and government programs relevant to marketing needs and goalsAs an objective third party, assist in defining client issues, problems, and opportunities faced by clients.
