Location Address:2500 Windy Ridge Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia 30339Work Shift:Salary Exempt (United States of America)Altium Packaging is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to be the product expert, understand customer views, manage the product lifecycle, and drive the long-term roadmap to help accelerate our growth and development. As a leader in the packaging industry, Altium delivers innovative packaging solutions across various end-segments including food and beverage, household, industrial, and healthcare with leading and emerging brands.Reporting to the Director of Innovation & Design and guided by Altium's Senior Leadership Team, the Product Marketing Manager will play a key role in accelerating the pace of Innovation, developing customer-focused solutions to drive sustained growth, and shaping the future of sustainable packaging solutions.The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with various teams at Altium as a cross-functional quarterback responsible for strategically driving the development, launch, and continual support and improvement of Altium's packaging solutions. This role is located in Atlanta, GA at our HQ. Candidates must be local to the area.Responsibilities:Develop and execute packaging solution strategies to drive sustained growth and help our customers achieve their packaging and sustainability goals.Understand the packaging market and customer point-of-view by assessing customer needs, market trends, competitive offerings, and growth opportunities. Understand and act as the voice of the customer within Altium.Develop product and market insights using market research methodologies like focus groups, quantitative and qualitative research, industry white papers, and point-of-sale purchase data.Assess and prioritize opportunities to define product strategies and roadmaps.Develop business plans and executive presentations linking product, commercial, and operations strategies.Own features/solution decisions and lead agile feedback, prototyping, and experiments to test hypotheses.Champion leading product development methodologies (e.g., lean, agile, design thinking, etc.) and partner with project managers to create strong bias for action to ensure speed and efficiency with the innovation process.Partner with sales and marketing to develop category and product positioning, product sheets, sales and marketing collateral and training materials, and strategies to drive customer adoption (e.g., lead generation)Manage the complete product lifecycle from concept to commercialization and end of life.Track product and category performance measures like product revenue, quality, market share, and growth.Qualifications Required:Minimum of 5 years' experience in Product ManagementBachelor's degree in business administration or related fieldDemonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectivesProven ability to effectively manage multiple projects with diverse, cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; including strong experience with presentation creation (e.g., PowerPoint) and delivery to an executive level audienceExcellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authorityStrong problem solving, creative, and analytical skills with the ability to analyze business conditions and create actionable recommendationsSelf-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to prioritize with autonomyAble to travel approximately 15% of the timePreferred:Experience within B2B, industrials, manufacturing, engineering, or other technical skillsTraining or certifications in leading product development methodologies (e.g., lean, agile, project management, design thinking, etc.)Experience writing business plans and providing executive presentations#LI-KG1We incorporate our Guiding Principles into all aspects and at all levels of the organization and use them as a framework for decision-making.
