The Job Details are as follows:

The Marketing Project and Program Manager works collaboratively to ensure that all marketing campaign and project requests from cross-functional internal partners across various departments are delivered successfully and efficiently. The Marketing Project & Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing various marketing projects from inception to completion on time, on budget, and within scope. They will also play a role in upholding quality standards throughout the project lifecycle and developing reporting mechanisms to monitor project progress, communicate findings to relevant stakeholders, and provide insights for continuous improvement. Moreover, the Marketing Project & Program Manager is responsible for maintaining documentation of project plans, timelines, decisions, and outcomes to facilitate transparency, knowledge sharing, and organizational learning.

ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resources requirementsDistribute assignments to project teams, depending on their availability and prioritiesCollaborate with project team members to ensure effective project executionFacilitate clear communication between team members, stakeholders, and other internal/external partnersIdentify and mitigate potential risks that may impact project deliveryMonitor projects to ensure that all projects are on time, on budget, and within scope and incorporate changes as neededProvide regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and key performance indicatorsConduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practicesWork with freelancers and contractors as needed to ensure they have the resources needed for their jobs

RequirementsKnowledge of marketing best practices and previous Marketing Project Manager experience or similar role, whether in an agency or corporate settingBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field with 3-5 years of experience in project and/or traffic managementDesire to advance the mission of a global non-profit that brings technology, research, and programming to libraries to help them share the world’s knowledgeSelf-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeedAbility to work independently, multi-task, organize, and collaborateManage a wide variety of projects from internal stakeholders with competing deadlines and limited resourcesStrong decision-making skills and prioritization are essential to effectively and efficiently schedule, monitor, and adjust deadlines and resources as neededExcellent verbal, writing, and people management skills to effectively communicate requests and to project team members (includes getting content creators to meet deadlines and following up when they don’t, pushing back when stakeholders make unrealistic requests, and making sure everyone is satisfied with the project)Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, exceptional time management and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Excel and working knowledge of other project management software (Airtable, etc.)

Preferred QualificationsProject Management certification (i.e. CAPM, PMP, etc.)
