What you get to do:The Marketing Coordinator for SeaWorld Orlando supports the Integrated Marketing Manager in project managing the creation of assets and paid media placement for SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando which includes their new attractions, consumer events, SeaWorld Rescue operations and more.Manage deadlines and trafficking for advertising creative in partnership with the Corporate Trafficking Manager and the Park Integrated Marketing Manager.Work with the Finance team to process purchase orders, request bids from vendors, track appropriate information, and receive approvals.Track, analyze, and report on competitive activity including media/advertising, sales/promotions, and performance on an ongoing basis.Lead the recap of each of the promotional and event activities for SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando for historical reference.Assist with maintaining and distributing marketing communication calendars and announcements for current and upcoming products and events.Support the creation of presentations, QR Codes, creative requests through Wrike as well as uploading assets to our digital asset management tool.Assist with the fulfillment of sweepstakes, radio promotions, PR/Influencer, and other ticketing/visit requests as needed.Coordinate and host site visits from vendors, partners, and internal clients.Assist with special projects as necessary.What it takes to succeed:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Journalism or related field requiredAt least 3 years practical experience in communications, writing, creativity or campaign planning/execution requiredOutstanding written, verbal and visual communications skills and ability to convey messages clearly and persuasivelyProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to understand a strategy and use critical and creative thinking to achieve the desired outcomeAbility to handle multiple priorities, be able to handle change and be able to perform well under pressureAvailability to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidaysDesired Qualifications:2 – 3 years experience in marketing or communications experience preferredPrior experience at a theme park or accredited zoological facility preferredWorking knowledge of digital design, experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, After Effects, Premier Pro) preferredWhat else is important:Must have a valid Driver’s license and able to meet company driving guidelinesMust be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing).Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat.Work regularly Monday through Friday but with flexibility based on business need to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.The perks of the position:As part of the SeaWorld family, you’ll enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment and great teammates, as well as:Paid Floating HolidaysAccrual based Paid Time OffSEA Employee Complimentary Park Tickets and PassesSEA Park Discounts on Food and MerchandiseMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401K planVoluntary InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability BenefitsDependent and Health Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramLegal Assistance PlanJoin the team!If you’re looking for the opportunity to make the most of your abilities in a one-of-a-kind setting with an entertainment industry leader, we’re looking for you!
