The position will conceptualize, develop, and execute internal and external communication strategies. The ideal candidate will be strategic, forward-thinking, organized, and creative. Experience in the AEC industry is preferred, though not required.Duties and responsibilities:Idea generation (content and graphics) and execution with a balanced technical/clever voiceFollow and enhance approval processAnalyze monthly analytics and make changes as appropriateOther mediums: YouTube, podcastCross-department coordination

Interview technical staff and develop contentIndependently create graphics, brochures, and other corporate collateral (e.g., recruiting, safety, project-specific materials, etc.)

Conference planning and management

Track budget and costsResearch upcoming conferences across marketsConfidently represent McMillen at conferencesCoordinate all conference needs (e.g., registrations, furniture, shipping, travel, etc.)Vendor coordinationConference-specific campaign and graphic coordination and development

Coordinate other external communications

NewsletterClient appreciationMedia relations and publication review

Website maintenance

Receive/distribute/respond to contact form requestsUpdate project information/add project case studiesAbility to work in WebflowNews updates (e.g., articles, publications, awards, etc.)

Internal communications

Company intranet updatesCompile/share technical presentationsOther department support as needed

Qualifications:5 years of experience is preferredExperience using Adobe Creative Cloud and other software to develop collateral from concept through completionAdvanced writer and editor with keen attention to detailExperience with content generationAbility to delegate and collaborate within marketing teamStrong communication and coordination skillsAvailability to travel up to 5 times per yearCompensation Package:Pay Range:
