$118,622/year to $130,484/yearDuties:- Lead the IXL Engineering team in the execution of IXL application design activities of a Signaling project- Adopt the Alstom application design process and ensure delivery according to the project schedule and quality commitments- Report progress for engineering team to project engineering manager for activities executed, issues, and potential improvements- Deliver design scheme plan layouts, Control Tables, safe HMI layouts, signaling logic application data, hardware configuration drawings, cable core plans, signaling equipment Rooms layout, and diagnostic application data- Ensure application and adherence to the reference application design methods and tools, requesting deviations whenever appropriate in cooperation with project engineering manager- Participate in the IXL detailed design review meetings and provide activity progress reports- Organize and produce documental, software, and hardware design deliveries according to the project templates and needs- Ensure that IXL application designs are in compliance with the system and subsystem project requirement specifications- Support Project V&V manager in debugging design issues- Analyze and manage design change requests and participate in the definition of the HW & SW package to be delivered to the V&V, Installation, and Testing & Commissioning teams- Ensure independence of the design activity from the verification activityRequirements:Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Software, Electrical, Electronic, or Automation Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in an IXL Application Design Lead-related occupation.
