POSITION DESCRIPTION
As a Social Media Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence, engaging with our target audience, and driving brand awareness through various social media platforms. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and content creation.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, their features, and best practices for organic and paid advertising.
Proficiency in using social media management tools, scheduling platforms, and analytics tools to track and optimize performance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to adapt the brand's tone and voice across different platforms.
Strong creative thinking and content creation abilities, with a good understanding of visual design principles.
Up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging social media trends, platforms, and algorithms.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines appropriately.
Basic graphic design and photo/video editing skills are preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand visibility, reach, and engagement across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Create and curate engaging, high-quality content, including posts, images, videos, and infographics, tailored to different social media channels and target audiences.
Monitor social media trends, news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for content creation and audience engagement.
Implement social media campaigns, including planning, scheduling, and optimizing content for maximum effectiveness and visibility.
Manage social media accounts, including posting updates, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful interactions with followers and customers.
Collaborate with the Off and On Premise Sales teams to align social media efforts with overall sales incentives.
Utilize social media analytics tools to track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators, such as reach, engagement, conversions, and customer feedback.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital marketing strategies.
Assist in the planning and execution of giveaways to promote company products and services.
Monitor online reviews and customer feedback to address any concerns promptly and maintain a positive online reputation.
Stay informed about relevant legal and ethical guidelines for social media marketing to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Regularly upload and maintain digital information and company updates via television screens around Bernie Little Distributors.
Regularly maintain the outside digital sign/billboard with important information and celebratory events.
Assist with company donation requests and donation pick up scheduling.
Assist with company and community events.
