Dynamic Church Planting International (DCPI) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Communications Director. The Communications Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization’s communication strategy to enhance its mission of planting five million churches worldwide. This role involves managing internal and external communications, developing compelling content, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.About DCPIDCPI is a non-profit (501c3) organization based in Oceanside, California with partners and staff working throughout the world. We train Christian leaders on every inhabited continent of the world to plant churches in their communities, in their languages. Because we primarily focus on supporting national leaders, we have seen God bring His Church to communities we could never reach in languages we could never speak. He has given us a vision to plant FIVE MILLION churches worldwide. We currently have over 500,000 leaders trained, who have planted over a million churches worldwide! We would love to make a place for you within our team!Skills NeededProven experience in a communications leadership role, preferably within a non-profit or faith-based organization.Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.Strong understanding of branding, public relations, and media engagement.Ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies.Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Passion for the mission and values of a Christian worldwide training organization.ResponsibilitiesCommunication Strategy: ensure consistent and effective messaging across all communication channels, including the website, social media, email, and print materials.Content Development: create compelling content that highlights DCPI’s impact, success stories, and initiatives, oversee the production of newsletters, press releases, blogs, and other communication materials, and Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with DCPI’s brand voice.Monitor media coverage and analyze its impact on DCPI’s public image.Digital Marketing and Social Media: oversee DCPI’s digital marketing efforts, including social media strategy and content, manage the organization’s social media accounts, ensuring regular and engaging posts, and analyze digital marketing metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach and engagement.Internal Communications: facilitate effective internal communication to ensure staff and partners are informed and engaged, and support the leadership team with communication needs and initiatives.Event Promotion: coordinate promotional efforts for DCPI events, conferences, and workshops.Technical Duties: utilize communication tools and platforms (e.g., WordPress, GoHighLevel) to manage and disseminate content, stay informed about emerging communication technologies and best practices, and provide technical support for communication-related tools and systems.AccountabilityThis leader reports to the Vice President of Brand an Marketing.CompensationThis position is support-raised or volunteer.
