We are also the creators of the HTTP Live Streaming protocol, one of the most successful adaptive bitrate streaming solutions in the industry. You will take part in designing groundbreaking features and experiences for future OS releases and contribute to the advancement of video streaming technologies!DescriptionAs a Streaming Media Software Engineering Manager, you will be accountable for the following:Leading a versatile team of engineers developing exciting new features in the area of streaming mediaCollaborate closely with multi-functional teams to ensure end to end bringup of new featuresOpen up the boundaries on innovation, working on compelling designs at the very edge of what's technically possibleContribute to overall media systems design, performance analysis and optimizationsMinimum Requirements:Strong software development experience in C or Objective-CProficiency in multi-threaded development and synchronization primitivesGood understanding of media pipelinesSolid understanding of Operating Systems fundamentalsExposures in debugging and solving software issues using system profiling, network analysis toolsPreferred QualificationsExcellent prioritization skills and focusStrong problem solvingStrong critical thinking and communications skills
