We are looking for an enthusiastic event marketing manager to join the Industry & Customer Events team in San Francisco, specifically working with the Events Lead to look after LinkedIn Learning industry and sponsorship engagements. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our rapidly growing LinkedIn Learning business.In this position, you will be the logistics marketer, supporting a number of learning events throughout the year. Our audience focuses on corporate, higher education and government segments. Reporting to the Events Lead, you will be tasked with helping at major LinkedIn Learning engagements such as ATD, EduCause and Learning Technologies in the UK. You will also assist with our partnerships with Microsoft related events such as Build and Inspire and help manage assets related to smaller events nationally.We’re looking for a high energy, high attention to detail, passionate professional with communication and project management skills. This is a cross-functional role and you will need to develop relationships across a broad range of global stakeholders from marketing communications, field sales, agency teams and external partners.RESPONSIBILITIESWork closely with the events lead to develop and produce global event programsWork with internal marketing and external event partners including agencies, registration, audio visual, facilities, shipping, and other event logistics partners.Coordinate the sales team and other stakeholders onsite and manage setup at some onsite eventsManage and deliver to the work back schedule and production schedule for each eventCultivate strong relationships with marketing partners and key vendorsEnsure collateral and swag are produced and delivered on time for each eventCommunicate to all stakeholders through regular event newslettersEnsure ‘event-in-a-box’ assets are maintained and refreshed as neededLiaise with procurement for contracts and paymentsAbility to travel domestically and internationally is requiredBASIC QUALIFICATIONS;Bachelor’s Degree3+ years of events marketing experience in brand, marketing technology or agency marketing3+ years working with cross-functional teams or stakeholdersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Project management experienceAbility to work across various levels of the organization while building trust and fostering collaborationExperience managing projects and budgetsAbility to work well under pressure, with tight deadlinesAdvanced skills in Microsoft Suite, including Excel and PowerPointStrong verbal and written skillsExcellent eye for detail, fast on your feet and a problem solver
