JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role has a responsibility to support the internal comms & change activities designed and led by the Senior Managers in the team. This is, specifically designed to drive the global agenda of ensuring people are informed, involved and engaged in the company’s business and people initiatives but with a specific business partnering remit across HR, Comms & ESG, Global Operations and the remaining support functions.Under the direction of the Senior Managers, the role will also be responsible for writing and posting creative, engaging content across the communications channels, provide administrative support for campaign development and implementation and gathering data for evaluation purposes.Accountabilities:Supports the work to ensure that the global workforce is aware of, understands and can relate to how the companies’ strategy and business priorities are relevant to their team and personal role. Supporting the Senior Manager, Internal Comms & Change to implement relevant plans and campaigns.Supports the Internal Communications team generally through writing and posting creative content across the communications channels, providing administrative support for campaign development and implementation and gathering data for evaluation purposes and reports.Skills:Ability to build positive working relationships internally and externally.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent level of English.A good understanding of communication best practice.Ability to identify interesting topics for internal and external promotion.A creative mind, and a healthy interest in sharing and encouraging news and conversation.Ability to interrogate data, produce reports and analyse any emerging trends.Ability to write creatively and clearly for a wide range of audiences.Experience of using Microsoft Office packages and web / intranet platforms.Experiences:A minimum of 1 year experience in a communications role.Experience of supporting a communications team in delivering internal and / or external activities and campaigns.Experience of developing content for a wide range of audiences.Experience of using on-line and social media platforms.Knowledge of how to source relevant data to inform communication activities.A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.Ability to speak and write excellent English (not necessarily native), with a second language (ideally Spanish) a distinct advantage but not essential.Ensuring key stakeholders are bought-in to the value of external communications and its importance commercially to the business.The provision of a clear pipeline of communications topics to ensure a timely flow of information and engaging content to employees.Delivering the demands of the role when faced with multiple requests and short timelines.
