FLITReports to: Director of Worship GatheringsStatus: Full-time, exemptSupervisory Role: YesOBJECTIVETo champion the vision for all production at The Church of Eleven22 and to provide central leadership to all campus production staff and teams.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowshipOversee the functionality of all technical systems (audio, lighting, video) for regular weekend services and special events at the San Pablo campus (worship center, auditorium A, B and C and online)Oversee weekly maintenance of all audio, lighting and video at the San Pablo campus (worship center, auditorium A, B and C and online), including updating hardware, software and firmwareCollaborate with the Worship Experience Pastor, in the technical processes of services in room at the San Pablo campus and onlineOversee troubleshooting any technical problems leading up to service timeServe as needed in the execution of audio, lighting or video in servicesOwnership of equipment rental, tech riders, input list, lighting/stage design for all big momentum events (Easter, Saturated, Christmas Eve and one-off events) and weekend servicesAssist Lighting Director with install/creation timeline of stage designs, lighting design and stage plotsKnowledge of processes and routing of all audio, lighting and video in-room, online and how it is being streamed to other campusesAssist the Live Video Director with all maintenance of necessary systems for audio/video playback from CG, Ableton, Arena, K2 and TriaOwnership of all wireless mics and in ears (RF coordination and maintenance)Regularly check in with all campuses to ensure the streamed campus experience accomplishes the overall experience vision and is in alignment with our staff code of conduct of “excellence without excess”Understand all technical systems at the San Pablo campus and remote campuses to ensure the ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve potential issuesHiring and onboarding Campus Production DirectorsServe as the Central Production Director for all campuses, leading team meetings and casting visionRun and manage production budgetsAttend All Staff meetings and functionsOther duties as neededCOMPETENCIESModel The Church of Eleven22’s mission, vision and core valuesAbility to maintain strict confidentialityAbility to adapt to changeAbility to learn and utilize new computer softwareHigh-capacity, multi-tasking individual who is comfortable working independently without constant supervisionStrong written and oral communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to troubleshoot and solve problems quicklyEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCETechnical proficiency – audio, video and lightingSkilled in organization, administration and interpersonal relationshipsProficient in Microsoft Office and Planning Center Online programsTwo years’ experience in productionIntermediate MAC and PC proficiencyBasic understanding of lighting and audio consolesFamiliarity with pre-visualization, waves, Smaart softwareFamiliarity with computer software like ProPresenter is preferred, but not requiredRelational and team-building skills requiredPOSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORKThis is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work may vary based on church need.The church has several big events, (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.Our entire staff family is called to action, so that we can continue to be a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in a professional office environment and in an auditorium stage environment. This role routinely uses standard office and production equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Some travel to offsite campuses and correctional facilities may be required for meetings and events.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThis role would require the ability to lift and carry equipment of up to 75 pounds and bend or stand as necessary. Must be able to work safely at heights above stages and auditoriums.MINISTERIAL EXCEPTIONThe ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).Staff members who qualify under the ministerial exception are not covered by federal and state employment and anti-discrimination laws.
