Experts in our fields, we are driven by our mission and extremely proud of the work we do.What You Will Do:Bottom Line seeks a Marketing Director to help execute the organization’s strategic plan which focuses on expanding to directly serve 20,000 students annually and reaching 400,000 with the Bottom Line program model through partnerships by the year 2030. The Marketing Director is responsible for developing marketing strategies to reach Bottom Line’s various external audiences and to successfully convert and/or nurture them as participants, partners, funders, and champions of our work.ResponsibilitiesCreate and implement marketing strategies that drive the marketing funnel (awareness to conversion) for the organization’s various target audiences and will enable Bottom Line to stand out in a crowded college access/success marketDevise and implement marketing strategies that support one, unified Bottom Line brand and can be both executed and customized to Bottom Line’s four geographic regions (Chicago, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio), while also supporting Bottom Line’s expansion into new regions and lines of businessCollaborate with Chief External Affairs Officer and key internal stakeholders to develop and implement Bottom Line’s audience journey map and approach to audience engagementIn deep partnership with Bottom Line’s regional offices and Marketing Manager, plan, execute, and serve as a lead writer in the creation of marketing collateral, digital marketing efforts, in-depth storytelling, and swag for various programs, initiatives, and audiencesIn partnership with Chief External Affairs Officer, Marketing Manager, and IT team, oversee and execute Bottom Line’s marketing technology ecosystem (website, social media, email marketing, CRM, SMS/MMS, etc.)Plan and execute creation of visual assets needed for marketing efforts: photography, graphic design, etc.Serve as the organization’s internal expert on each Bottom Line audience, their respective personas, and journeysPartner with internal stakeholders to plan and execute One Bottom Line campaigns such as Giving Tuesday, end-of-year giving, Annual Report, etc.Ensure marketing efforts are cohesive and aligned with core branding and messagingEstablish marketing goals, metrics, and quarterly reporting dashboardCollaborate with Chief External Affairs Officer and key internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and ethical standards related to marketing and communicationsWork Schedule:Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, with additional hours as needed; flexibility may be requestedExpected Travel:15%Who Should Apply:If you meet the qualifications below, you should apply.Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field and/or equivalent work experienceMinimum 5-7 years of marketing experienceExpertise in the latest digital marketing strategies, tools, trends, and technologiesSkills and experience working in digital platforms, multi-channel communications, journey creation, and tagging/organizing assets that work within personalization and engagement platformsExperience or familiarity with relevant applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, and Personalization CloudDemonstrated commitment to Bottom Line’s mission, vision, and core valuesResults-driven with experience building and executing measurable marketing strategies involving use of the full marketing funnel and/or stakeholder journeyCreative and strategic writer with an ability to produce compelling content and collateral that caters to different target audiences and different marketing channelsAbility to foster deep collaboration working remotely yet across multiple geographic areasAn affinity towards creative, out-of-the-box marketing supported by deep storytellingHow to Apply/Application Deadline:All applications must be submitted via Bottom Line’s Career Page.Please share your resume and cover letter.The application deadline is February 2, 2024.Start Date:February 2024Compensation:$98k-120k, commensurate with experience and location
