As a Senior UX Designer specializing in Design Systems at Epic Games, you’ll spearhead the strategy and execution of design systems that support our suite of products and services, including iconic games like Fortnite and groundbreaking platforms like Unreal Engine. Collaborating closely with our product and engineering teams, you'll leverage your expertise to enhance user experiences across our digital landscape by ensuring that our design systems are robust, scalable, and seamlessly integrated into the Epic Games portfolio.In this role, you will

Partner with product leadership to shape and refine the vision for our cross-platform design systems, aligning them with Epic’s strategic objectivesLead the creation of design components, guidelines, and specifications, ensuring consistency and intuitive user experiences across all user interfacesDrive innovation within the design system to support product strategy and user engagement across various platformsFacilitate alignment and integration of the design system across various product teams, including desktop, web, mobile, console, and PC, promoting cross-team collaboration and efficiencyCollaborate with design leadership to standardize design processes, advocating for the adoption of the design system and promoting a culture of high quality and consistencyWhat we're looking for

Demonstrated expertise in the development and management of design systems for a broad range of platforms, including but not limited to desktop, web, mobile, game consoles, and PCsComprehensive understanding of design principles and the ability to oversee product experiences from concept through to deliverySkilled in using diverse communication tools to effectively convey design solutions, adapting your approach for different audiencesOutstanding storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire teams and stakeholdersAdeptness at providing insightful feedback, engaging in constructive dialogues, and navigating complex discussions with professionalism and tactCommitment to collaboration, actively working with teams to refine and enhance design quality within the design systemDemonstrated ability to build strong relationships across disciplines, with a track record of influencing organizational culture towards better design practicesBonus points

Familiarity with Unreal Engine and Unreal Motion Graphics (UMG) is highly regarded. Candidates with experience in leveraging Unreal Engine for UI/UX design, particularly those who have utilized UMG for interface development, will find themselves at a significant advantageThis role is open to multiple locations across North America and Europe (including NYC & WA).Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).New York City Base Pay Range$185,075 — $271,443 USDWashington Base Pay Range$173,970 — $255,156 USDABOUT US
