Title: Sales & Production Manager

Location: Oahu-Based (Travel Required)

Sales Responsibilities:

Manage sales, proposals, site visits, and follow-ups; maintain and build client relationships.

Oversee sales, project, and inventory management using Flex Rental Solutions software.

Create diagrams using CAD/Vector works.

Service existing accounts, prepare proposals/quotes, and call on existing accounts.

Establish new accounts and engage potential sales outlets and trade factors.

Deliver sales presentations to existing and new customers.

Focus sales efforts by analyzing the volume potential of dealers.

Submit activity and results reports to the President/VP, including call/follow-up reports, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual analyses.

Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.

Recommend changes in products, services, and policies based on competitive developments.

Resolve client challenges by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.

Provide historical records by maintaining client sales records.

Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Collaborate with Operations/Warehouse Team on show pulls and operational items.

Event Production Manager Responsibilities:

Travel required – up to 50%.

Manage day-to-day operations of assigned projects.

Represent AVS in a professional and positive manner.

Use and develop SOPs.

Maintain a positive and productive environment striving for excellence.

Manage productivity, quality, costs, and profitability.

Create diagrams using CAD/Vector works.

Perform site visits during the pre-planning phase.

Schedule, manage, and coordinate labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and technical expertise.

Approve equipment needs.

Coordinate travel arrangements and trucking/freight/transport arrangements.

Develop production schedules, work orders, and crew correspondence information.

Handle client and hotel correspondence and letters as needed.

Reconfirm processes related to labor calls, trucking/freight/transport/lifts, and travel.

Manage the in/out operations and day-to-day show operations.

Oversee labor calls and breaks for productivity and profitability.

Ensure AVS standards of excellence and safety are upheld.

Manage add-ons, modifications, and update orders/final bills accordingly.

Maintain excellent relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, employees, and employer.

Ensure the venue is cleaned up after events and left in good order.

Liaise with venue personnel when necessary.

Review and approve vendor invoices and labor for accounting processing.

Keep accurate records and complete final billing details in a timely manner.

General Responsibilities:

Knowledge of Flex Rental Solution software preferred.

Heavy lifting required (up to 100 pounds as a team).

Forklift operator and 24’ Cargo Box Truck driving skills preferred.

Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.

Pass drug test, physical, and background check.
