About The Role

As a Principal UX Designer, you will lead the design of user-centric experiences across our digital healthcare platforms. You will work closely with our product, engineering, and operations team to design the interfaces for our internal clinical operations and billing tools ensuring a consistent look and feel and company branding.This senior role involves driving design strategy, and ensuring our products effectively address the needs of patients and healthcare providers.

What You'll Do

Design Leadership:

Lead the UX design process for digital health products, ensuring that design solutions are user-centered and compliant with healthcare regulations and standards.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical experts, to define and implement product features that are both clinically sound and user-friendly.

User-Centered Design:

Advocate for patients and healthcare professionals at every stage of the design process, ensuring our products are accessible, intuitive, and meet the diverse needs of our users.

Prototyping:

Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design concepts, ensuring they address both user needs and healthcare requirements.

Research & Strategy:

Conduct user research, including patient and healthcare provider interviews, to understand the unique challenges in healthcare. Translate research findings into actionable design strategies that improve patient outcomes.

Compliance & Innovation:

Stay informed about healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDA guidelines) and integrate them into design solutions. Bring new ideas to the team that can enhance patient engagement and care delivery.

Stakeholder Communication:

Present design solutions to stakeholders, including clinicians and executives, articulating how design decisions improve both user experience and clinical outcomes.

What You Need

6+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on healthcare or similar regulated industries environment, alongside engineering and product management

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, human-computer interaction, interaction design, or a related field

Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture, with a focus on healthcare applications.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to a non-design audience.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and the ability to design within these constraints is a plus

Familiarity with front-end development is a plus.

Estimate compensation range

Base Salary Range: $150,000 – $165,000 a year

The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: work experience, market data, and geographic location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
