Join our News Team as a Photographer/Editor Fill-In.Responsibilities:The Photographer/Editor is responsible for the operation of cameras, editing, and microwave equipment used in electronic newsgathering.Qualifications:Undergraduate degree in broadcasting or similar major required.Must know spot news but have an eye for creative storytelling as well.Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment (50lbs) and work various shifts.Ability to maneuver and operate a live truck required.Driver’s license required as position requires driving.Good communication skills, sound editorial judgment, and familiarity with Chicago city streets a plus.Knowledge of Adobe Premiere a plus.Three to five years television news gathering, editing, and microwave experience required.Must include a link to online reel with your resume!Position requires IBEW membership.
