Music Library Coordinator . This position is responsible for the management of the College of Fine Arts Music Curriculum Library, which holds more than 25,000 complete sets and functions as both a performance and circulating library.
The position works closely with faculty, staff, and students to:
Obtain, prepare, distribute, and maintain music for all School of Music ensembles (including BU Bands);
Provide library services to faculty, staff, academic centers, and affiliated organizations (e.g., BUTI, BYSO);
Oversee the maintenance and circulation of the library's collection of music sets, reference and instrumental method books, scores, books, and audio music;
Arrange for necessary performance licenses and advise on the application of copyright law to maintain compliance for both in-person and streamed performances;
Serve as liaison with the University's library system;
Maintain the library database;
Supervise and train student employees.
