Position Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Demand Generation the Associate Director, Marketing Operations works to drive leads, sales pipeline and brand awareness through inbound and outbound marketing techniques. This individual works cross functionally with teams across the organization, most notably IT, sales operations and marketing and is responsible for the technical capabilities and tactical effectiveness for marketing at The Academy.

Primary Job Duties:

Deep understanding and management of all technical aspects of existing marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM connection) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads, including determining and implementing system updates, managing QA process and daily monitoring of health of system

Monitor marketing technology solutions and recommend needed enhancements to existing tech stack to support annual marketing goals

Ensure execution of all marketing tactics across email, webinar, social, web and other tactics as needed to achieve annual marketing goals

Own website setup, management and content/copy updating

Monitor, analyze and communicate marketing metrics on an ongoing basis to optimize performance based on industry best practices

Develop a deep understanding of target market and segments to maintain a high-quality database of target companies with relevant titles, contacts, and contact details using Salesforce

Manage the marketing operations team members including supporting their ongoing growth and development along with performance of everyday responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required

5+ years’ experience in marketing operations

Deep knowledge of marketing automation systems (Marketo strongly preferred)

Experience managing data in a CRM (Salesforce strongly preferred)

Admin experience in digital channels including web, social media, search

Familiarity with the collection and interpretation of marketing analytics

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, and distance vision, and the ability to work with screens or monitors for prolonged periods of time. This position is primarily a sedentary job where the team member will be seated for the majority of the day.

Compensation:

Starting salary of $100,000 per year plus benefits.
