They are inspirational leaders, they energize, they are dynamic presenters, they earn confidence from their team and their clients in the pursuit of work that pushes boundaries and solves business challenges, always aspiring to move culture with creativity.RESPONSIBILITIES:With an emphasis on copywriting, the creative director helps guide the messaging aspects of all assignments in their charge. They help establish and protect the creative vision for all assignments, ensuring that the work is breakthrough and on strategy.The creative director leads the presentation (and selling) of creative work to clients and works closely with account directors and strategists to ensure innovative solutions with seamless delivery. A key task is managing a portfolio of brands and being responsible for their creative output, creative proactivity, and business success of their clients.The LERMA/ creative director is the ultimate player/coach: They can contribute individually one moment and manage/mentor a highly creative team in the next moment. They work effectively with copywriters, art directors, graphic designers, experience designers, technologists, content creators, and producers - all of whom share the responsibility on the project.Maintain a high bar for creative excellence when creating the work, judging the work, and producing the work. In leading the production of the work, creative directors bring a depth of experience in working successfully with directors, editors, photographers, illustrators, animators, programmers, colorists, retouchers and other creative partners associated with the execution of a campaign.A LERMA/ creative director has a true passion for, and understanding of, what drives consumer behavior. They lead and directly contribute to new business activities as well as inspire ways to expand creative opportunities with existing clients.A LERMA/ creative director radiates the agency culture in everything they do. They are open, optimistic, resilient, empathetic, inspiring, and demonstrate a high level of cultural intelligence.REQUIREMENTS:10-20 years of experience.Fluent in English and Spanish.Experience making award-winning creative and great creative judgement.Joy in collaborative creativity.Strong experience in developing powerful brand stories across many different styles and touchpoints.A mastery of language, voices, styles and tone.A love for mentoring creative team members and investing in their growth.An ability to motivate teams towards a high bar with a productive and positive approach.A well-tuned instinct for advertising trends and how to compete in the advertising space.A mastery of the production process across multiple mediums including TV, OOH, experiential, print, digital, social and emerging media.Fluency in strategic development, easily collaborating with planners and strategists in the foundational phases of campaign development with the ability to make strategic contributions that set the stage for great campaigns.A history of working closely with clients in the following capacities: understanding and delivering on business objectives, defending the work, managing feedback and client concerns, finding opportunities for breakthrough creative.Strength in developing and/or maintaining existing brand standards.Experience merging creative impact with data-driven objectives.WHAT WE OFFER:Competitive salary based on experiencePaid company holidays, paid vacation, and paid sickBenefits: medical, dental, and vision401K plan with full company match up to 3%Annual profit-sharing
