Senior Design Director

We are a Home textile company seeking an experienced designer director to join our in-design team. Our products include, bedding (comforters, quilts) , Window curtains, sheets, bath (shower curtains & rugs) Candidates should have Bachelor Degree in Textile design with an prior experience in home fashion.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in Textile Design, or related fieldMinimum 2 years of textile design work experience in Home categoriesDistill abstract business concepts and client needs into elegant creative solutions.Take responsibility for the creative vision and the standard of output across team members who work under them.Pitch ideas confidently and present the creative vision clearly to clients, as well as communicate in the same manner to members of the creative team.Have strong people management and leadership skills in order to hire, develop, and inspire the creative team.Ensure that all of the organization's or client's creative output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand.Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.Extensive experience and technical knowledge of textiles, fabrications, construction, printing and manufacturing techniquesHighly developed taste level and sense of colorunderstanding of the Home Space landscape, & overall design trendsAbility to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to changeAbility to successfully and efficiently manage workloadExtremely organized and highly detail-oriented - excellent calendar adherence and ownershipExcellent time management skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftEducation:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:cad design: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person
