What You'll Do
Responsible for multiple projects from FFE kickoff through installation and punch listsCoordinate with production team finish plans, specifications, and material selectionsReview and assist in the development of space plansResponsible for selection and specification of all FFE product and accessoriesDevelop and review FFE Presentations for alignment with client vision, client branding packages, and CID conceptual design aestheticCollaborate with clients, contractors, and others to develop leading edge, innovative interior design solutionsDevelop, mentor, and train FFE team membersReview paint plans and update furniture schematics in CAD/Revit as neededDevelop and approve custom furniture and drapery worksheetsAssist in monitoring each project’s health (hours and overall budget)Schedule resources and facilitate installationsWork hands-on in creating unique design elements as neededAssist with punch lists and returns upon completion of installationsDevelop client
and vendo r relationshipsSupervise organization of the design studioWhat You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution or combination of education and experience.6+ years of experience as an interior designer within multi-family, commercial and/or hospitality industries. Experience in residential a plus.Highly developed skills with AutoCAD, a must, and strong knowledge of Adobe Suite (especially Photoshop), MS Office (especially MS PowerPoint), MS Project a plus etc.Working knowledge of modeling software (Sketch-up, Revit, 3D Studios, Rhino 3-D, etc.)Working experience with Studio Webware a plusDetail oriented, strong organizational and collaborative skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong time management skillsStrong articulate presentation skills with a command of design and construction vocabulary.Knowledge of current design trends and product resourcingUnderstanding of budgets and material costsTravel requiredAll applications must include a portfolio.
