JOB DESCRIPTION:We are seeking a Mid-level Content Design Consultant to join our innovative team and deliver timely work for our business partners. The position is for a contract role to support the Design team on the redesign of an existing payments product. The purpose of the work is to redesign the existing experience around new technology and a new flow, apply brand guidelines and A11y standards, identify potential error states, and document specifications for the revisions.

This person who will be responsible for collaborating with a Design lead and other team members, learning and applying Editorial guidelines to the designs, sharing work with the Product and Dev teams, and participating in presentations with executive leadership.Will be responsible for drafting UI content (including headers, subheads, descriptive copy, and errors) and annotating design specs.

Requirements:Gather and assess content requirements for enhanced products and features.Employ a range of human-centered techniques (such as personas, user flows, content audits and wireframes) to determine and convey content design decisions.Write and edit product content to meet business, technical and user needs, resulting in end-to-end digital experiences that are accessible, inclusive and compliant.Experience with using Figma and adding content to design filesProvide strategic, user-focused and accessible content recommendations and writing support to Experience Design (XD) teams, product managers, business lines and other stakeholders.Makes recommendations to enhance written content with images, infographics, charts, etc.Update content documents, content management system (CMS), design files and/or other documentation tools.Work in an Agile environment, which includes planning epics, writing sprint stories and participating in regular Agile ceremonies. Content Designers must become adept at using Agile tools like Jira and Confluence. Higher levels will contribute to sizing and scoping work for the team.Strong attention to detail, ability to problem-solve and work independently when needed.

Preferred Skills/Experience:Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceTypically 4 to 6 years of relevant experienceProficient at project management, content design, editorial, usability principles, or similar experienceEffective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
