Job SummarySQL Developers design and implement tailored configurations to the product to meet the business needs of specific customers. They work with customer-facing Implementation team members to understand business requirements and create sustainable solutions that address these needs. They also maintain existing configurations and troubleshoot problems when necessary.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with other members of the professional services team to ensure great, maintainable solutions to customer needsDevelop technical designs that meet complex requirements as well as being scalable, performant, secure, reliable, maintainable, and user-friendlyEffectively communicate designs to technical stakeholdersImplement high quality technical solutions to meet requirements or resolve configuration defects on customer instancesSupport upgrades of the product, reconfiguring where necessary to deliver the same customer outcomesInvestigate and troubleshoot customer support issuesFollow the Development processes, including but not limited to:Scrum rituals (huddles, sprint planning, retrospective, demo, grooming)Code standardsTechnical documentationSupport continuous improvement and high technical standards by participating in design and code reviews and other best practicesHelp develop project plans and deliver releases on time by identifying necessary tasks and dependencies, estimating timelines, and completing milestones in alignment with project planIdentify and implement technology and process improvements that improve the product or development processClearly and professionally communicate status, risks, impediments, recommendations, and concerns
Requirements and Qualifications3+ years of strong Visualization and Reporting experienceSharp Thinker, "Think on their feet"Curious in nature and Student mentality3+ years experience with

relational database development (SQL)3+ years experience with
Scripting or other process developmentExperience developing for
IntegrationsStrong software development skills and the knowledge and ability to overcome technical challengesKnowledge of best practices for software engineering and Agile software development life cycles, including coding standards, code reviews, design patterns, testing, etc.Excellent communication skills and willingness to work closely with other members of the PSO, development, and product teams to drive resolution of problemsDemonstrate initiative, strong work ethic, and accountabilityDemonstrate planning, organization, and time managementDemonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detailSelf-motivated, proactive, results-oriented professional with ability to work independently within a large team
Ideally for this role, candidate will demonstrate experience with:
Qlik DevelopmentCustomer-specific implementation development that has successfully gone live with customers, ideally for highly available SaaS applicationsEngaging with customer-facing teams to develop requirements and designs that address market needsTroubleshooting and resolving technical issues, including remote troubleshooting and supportFinance in a business contextManaging large data volumes, both for processing and displayServiceNow Administration or Development
