An employer in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a SECRET Avionics Project Manager for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will be responsible but not limited to the following: Will be supporting the DoD and work a part of a team that is dedicated to the integration of communication systems for mission platforms. Will evaluate technologies, perform assessments, enhance the design of the aircraft systems if needed and brief government customers. (Will work and focus on satellite/antenna communication systems). Most of this individuals time will be focusing on systems engineering management with an emphasis on technical process and requirements. Will be required to hold an active Secret clearance and have a hybrid schedule onsite (1-2x/week).
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEActive Secret DoD security clearance Bachelor's Degree in engineering related field (Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering)4+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related experienceExperience with integration communication systems, weapons, or sensor systems onto aircraft platformsExperience working with prototypes Experience briefing/interfacing with government customersNICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMaster's DegreeExperience working with 5th generation aircraft platforms.
