Math, Money, and Marketing Extraordinaire / FP&A & BD / Business GeneralistSalary Range:
$85,000-$115,000 + stock options and benefitsAt Seasats we strive to make top-quality products, and we’re just as invested in running effective business operations. We’re looking to bring on a numbers-oriented generalist to help with the second goal. This role will focus primarily on financial planning and analysis, but if you’ve got the time and skills you may contribute to business development and marketing efforts too. If you’re a quantitative thinker interested in startups, keep reading!About You:You’re a highly curious person, one who has built a lot of spreadsheets in your time. You like to ask questions and understand systems deeply, but you can work with round numbers and rapidly identify general trends when you've only got an hour to make a decision. You keep things organized, can write clearly, and can make a PowerPoint slide that is both visually appealing and informative. You are also:Good at ExcelExperienced building and maintaining financial modelsHappy to work on a variety of projects and topicsFamiliar with financial statements and basic accounting principlesDiscreet and trustworthy with sensitive informationInterested in technologyYou get bonus points if you’ve worked with startups, built things with your hands, and/or worked with technology products before.The Details:Currently multiple people on our team devote parts of their time to tracking and optimizing where our funds flow and when. In this role, you’d draw data from various parts of the business, process and interpret it, and make sure key takeaways get recorded and shared with the right people.
