We are seeking a

Business and Technology Analyst / Graphics Designer

to join our team in

Ashburn, Virginia.

This is a hybrid role on our team.

We are seeking this candidate to convert complex technical concepts and solutions into clear and concise visual graphics, illustrations, and presentations for use in mission-critical, high-visibility client-facing projects. These presentations will often be at the senior executive level and will require the Analyst to present their work to a variety of stakeholders. You will interface directly with customer leadership to develop and execute their vision. This role will become an advisor to the senior executive. A strong understanding of IT systems and workflow processes and how those impact the business and mission is essential.

This role is responsible for translating customer requirements into a wide variety of visually appealing graphics products. These products vary in complexity of design and production and may include high-quality designed PowerPoint graphics, exhibits, posters, brochures, publications, infographics, branding, and briefing presentations.

Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPossess a strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand complex problems, systems, and potential solutions and quickly conceptualize a meaningful, graphical/visual response.Design high-quality, engaging, and brand-consistent materials and collateral owning all aspects of production from concept to completion.Conceptualize and design data visualizations and infographics that make complex, technical ideas understandable and accessible.Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with client/campaign goals, brand, audience, and messaging.Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to amend designs and concepts based on client and/or management feedback, and changing scope or requirements.Remain current on industry trends and best practices in design and technology, using their knowledge to make recommendations that enhance design execution and improve the user experience.Other duties as assigned.

Work ExperienceQualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. This is a highly technical position; individuals will be screened by peers in a technical review of skills and experience.

Must HaveAt least 5 years' demonstrated experience with developing IT system solutions including workflows.At least 5 years' experience as a consultant/advisor/business partner to senior executives.Experience formatting data into visually appealing layouts and infographics.Near Expert level experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.Current, demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office tools, including MS PowerPoint and MS Visio.

Job SkillsTeam leadership skills, including task planning, assignment, and management.Ability to develop and maintain components with stringent performance requirements.Solid ability to interface at various organizational levels.Must work well in a matrixed team environment.Demonstrated ability to think both critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions to software problems.

EducationBachelor's Degree in Software Design, Information Systems, Engineering or other related discipline required.

Certificates, Licenses, And RegistrationsThis federal program requires the candidates to be a United States Citizen.Must have a current CBP BI clearance or be eligible to obtain one.

Communication SkillsStrong executive communications skills, with the ability to understand and convey technical information to non-technical individuals.Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.

TravelIndividual must live within the metropolitan Washington DC area with regular travel to customer site in Ashburn, VA as needed for meetings.

Environmental RequirementsMainly sedentary; in an office environment.May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds.Flexible in working extended hours.
