Marketing Data EngineerWellesley Information Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of technical and marketing expertise and experience with Data Pipeline Development; Data Analysis, Reporting & Quality Assurance and Database Management. This position reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).Key ResponsibilitiesData Pipeline Development : Design, implement, and manage data pipelines to efficiently collect, process, and store marketing data from various sources.Data Analysis & Reporting:

Collaborate with marketing analysts to understand data needs and develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights. Find data that matches business requirements such as segmenting contacts based on their activity history and account firmographics. Leverage existing BI solutions such as Google Data Studio or build custom dashboards using PHP and MySQLDatabase Management:

Setup and optimize MySQL tables. We use SingleStore, which is an enterprise grade drop-in, wire-compatible replacement for MySQL that runs in memory and supports massive data sets.Data Quality Assurance : Monitor and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across platforms. Ensure pristine data through data clean up processes, fuzzy logic, and third-party enrichment integrations.Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, analytics, third-party vendors, and IT, to align data engineering efforts with business objectives.QualificationsExperience : 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in SQL.Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MySQL, data integration techniques, and APIs. Familiar with either Python or PHP for data handling and data visualization. Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is a plus. Familiarity with machine learning systems is a major plus.Marketing & Sales Data:

Experienced with data from CRMs and marketing automation systems.
