What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage monthly financial closings, including detailed analyses of sales, cost of goods sold, and operating expensesCreate monthly summaries of financial performance and key performance indicatorsPrepare formal quarterly forecasts for corporate submissionsAssist with content acquisition and postmortem analysisSupport marketing staff with price promotions and future priorities
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experienceStrong PC skills, including proficiency with Excel and PowerPointStrong business and analytical skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to take initiative and work independently or as part of a teamPrior work experience in book publishing or media industry is a plusBS in Accounting/Finance or MBA preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI, Anaplan, and Business Objects preferred
