UI Java Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Frontend Angular Developer to join our dynamic team in Boston, MA. This hybrid role requires a commitment to four days of onsite work per week, with interviews also conducted onsite. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product management and IT teams to oversee the new home user interface, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our users.
Responsibilities include the continuous evaluation of the application's user experience, drawing on analytics, industry best practices, and direct observations of user behavior. You will play a pivotal role in designing, executing, and assessing tests for UI changes, both within the standard IT project framework and in more ad hoc scenarios.
Your expertise will guide the proposal and execution of code enhancements, informed by thorough analytics and user testing feedback. We expect you to bring a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements that will elevate the overall functionality and user satisfaction.
Qualifications for this role are rigorous, reflecting the high standards of our development process. Candidates should possess 6-8 years of experience in Angular development, with a strong command of Angular 12+ and TypeScript. A minimum of 7 years of experience in front-enddevelopment is required, encompassing a solid foundation in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
Experience with Java, Spring frameworks, and familiarity with SVN and CI/CD processes will be advantageous. Knowledge of AWS services, including ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, and SQS/SNS, along with experience in setting up DevOps pipelines using Jenkins, will distinguish your application. Additionally, experience in developing Spring RESTful Web Services, crafting modern creative and interactive UIs, and developing solutions that are cross-browser and cross-platform compatible is highly desirable.
