The Analog Design and Circuit Technology team at MediaTek is searching for qualified candidates to join our fast-growing team. As a member of this dynamic team, you will get to work on state-of-the-art next generation wireline and optical transceivers for data centers serving cloud infrastructure as well as the growing field of AI and high-performance computing. We are looking for ambitious analog and mixed signal designers, and DSP/system designers who are willing to learn, grow and contribute to diverse portfolio of products
Job DescriptionDevelop advanced algorithms for future wireline connectivity and optical transceiversImplement high-level DSP algorithms in Matlab, Verilog, and C/C++ simulation platforms and perform design trade-off and optimization in terms of performance, complexity, and power consumptionCollaborate with ASIC, and Analog-Mixed Signal design teams from different sites worldwide and provide a full support for fixed-point design, pre- and post-silicon verifications in the product developmentConducting future advanced research and development activities in wireline and optical communication areas.
RequirementMust have strong theoretical analysis skills and be capable of designing complex algorithms in communication systemsMS or above with a major in EE or Physics related field.Research with publications or industry design experience in wireline and optical systems is preferredSufficient physical layer simulation experience in communication systemsMust be proficient in Matlab, Verilog, C/C++ for algorithm design, integration, and verificationFamiliar with wireline communication specifications, impairments modelling, and compensation is a plusStrong communication skills, team-player and good working attitude
Salary range: $145,000 - $220,000Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
