Our continued growth has created an opportunity to join our IT Team. We are seeking an Audio Visual Engineer. This individual will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of audio-visual technology to support presentations, meetings, and conferences, enhancing communication and collaboration within our organization. This role will also provide exceptional, high-level IT support to our executive leadership team focusing significantly on audio-visual and conferencing solutions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong background in AV troubleshooting, particularly with Teams Room Systems, Crestron, and QSYS platforms. Having hands-on experience providing IT support to senior executives is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Audio-Visual ManagementDesign, install, configure, and maintain audio visual systems including video conferencing equipment, projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, and related peripherals.Manage AV infrastructure projects, from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of audio-visual systems including, Teams Room Systems, Video Walls Digital Signage, Crestron, and QSYS platforms and other AV technologies, ensuring seamless communication and presentation experiences.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill audio visual requirements for meetings, presentations, and conferences.Assist with the setup and support of events, including audio visual setup, technical support during events, and post-event evaluation and troubleshooting.Monitor AV system performance, conduct regular maintenance, and implement upgrades as needed to optimize reliability and functionalityCollaborate with the IT team to develop and implement new AV solutions and strategies to meet evolving business needs.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest AV technologies and IT best practices to continuously improve service quality.

Executive/PC Support:Provide on-site and remote white-glove IT support to the Executive Leadership Team, with a focus on audio-visual and conferencing technology challengesManage and prioritize service requests from executives, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to their workflow.Educate and guide executives on the effective use of AV technology and conferencing systems to enhance meeting productivity.Assist with the setup and support of executive events, including audio visual setup, technical support during events, and post-event evaluation and troubleshooting.Provide on-site and remote IT support, troubleshooting issues with computers, mobile devices, software applications, and network connectivity

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experienceMinimum 3 years’ experience designing, implementing, and supporting audio visual systems in a corporate environment; with 2 years of proven experience as an IT support specialist in a large enterprise environment required. Experience providing technical support to executive leadership is strongly preferredStrong technical knowledge of audio visual equipment, video conferencing systems (e.g., Microsoft Teams), AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, QSYS), and digital signal processors (e.g., Video Walls, Biamp, QSC).Industry certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) are a plus; Avixa CTS Certification preferredProficiency in using ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) for tracking and resolving IT support requests.Excellent problem-solving skills independently and collaboratively, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues under pressureStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and explanations to non-technical users; ability to interact professionally with executives and stakeholders at all levelsSelf-starter attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
