Coordinate cross-functional project teams to develop large and complex reinsurance and financing transactions within GFS’ mandate in Asia. Facilitate transactions that meet the needs of our clients while maximizing value to RGA and complying with pricing, risk, accounting, tax, legal, and other internal guidelines. This position primarily supports Japan deal activity. (The expected net income of a single transaction typically exceeds $1 million/year.)Responsibilities

Coordinate project team of professionals of varying levels (including business development, pricing, investments, legal, and other corporate partners as needed) to structure and complete highly complex financially-motivated reinsurance transactions focusing on Japan. Provide organization in the development of optimal solutions to meet client objectives.Facilitate the processes of analyzing transactions through interaction with the various technical experts in pricing, risk analysis, structured finance, accounting, legal, investments, tax, etc.. Document and follow up with other team members to ensure resolution of issues that arise during the RGA transaction analysis process to maximize the chance of a successful outcome. Work with the project team to track any issues related to the transaction and coordinate with the appropriate technical experts to make sure these issues get properly resolved in a timely manner to maximize the chance of success.Work closely with the various business development colleagues or local office representatives to facilitate and support the sales, structuring and negotiation process with the client.Organize project meetings and develop communications in support of the project team, identify and document follow-up items resulting from meetings, distribute meeting notes as necessary and follow up on any assignments to ensure completion.Provide regular updates of project progress on any applicable electronic sales support systems (CRM, SharePoint, MS Teams, other) or verbally in various meetings to ensure communication of the status of assigned projects to other interested parties.Coordinate all necessary approval documentation and meetings to ensure timely approvals from GFS senior management as well as various corporate oversight committees.May involve occasional travel.Maintain regular and predictable attendance.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements

Education and ExperienceRequired:BS/BA in Finance, Actuarial Science or related degree, or equivalent experience5+ years of insurance, reinsurance or finance experience5+ years project management/project lead experiencePreferred:5+ years experience specializing in 2 or more areas listed below
