Jewish Federation of Orange County (JFedOC) is seeking a professional to support organizational growth by driving forward the vision and mission of Federation through effective outreach and engagement with young adults ages 21-40 and families raising Jewish children ages 0-12. This position will be the person primarily responsible for delivering innovative programs and developing strategy to engage this demographic segment. You can learn more about Federation at JewishOC.org.Once here you will:Develop and implement annual plans for NextGen (NG) campaign and engagement, and PJ Library (PJ) engagement and endowment fundIdentify, steward, and solicit prospects/donors/grantors for NG and PJLead, manage, and NG and PJ volunteer leadership committees, and identify/cultivate those with potential for significant leadership roles in the OC Jewish communityPlan and implement NG and PJ events throughout the year, in collaboration with Jewish community partners and OC organizationsServe as primary liaison with Harold Grinspoon Foundation, a major funder of PJ LibraryCreate and/or post content for NG and PJ social media, e-communications, eventsMaintain and update NG and PJ CRM dataManage annual budgets for both programsMaintain and advance NG and PJ partnerships with community partnersSupervise PJ Library Parent ConnectorsServe as active member of the JFedOC Philanthropy TeamPerform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.Your experience and mindset:You have a Bachelor’s or graduate degreeYou believe in the mission and vision of JFedOC to strengthen community and amplify Jewish lifeYou have significant knowledge of Jewish culture and communityYou possess skill and experience in working with young adults, and in cultivating trusted relationships with donors and lay leadersYou have proven ability to plan, implement, and measure program and strategic outcomesYou thrive as part of a team, have excellent interpersonal skills, are an effective communicator verbally and in writing, and can pivot between operating as part of a team and operating independently with minimal supervisionYou are laser focused and work at a fast pace when it comes to solving problems and can achieve multiple tasks at once in order to effectively meet deadlinesYou are able to work evenings and weekends (excluding Shabbat/holidays) as neededApplication instructions:If you are interested in applying, please provide your resume and a cover letter that touches on why you are excited to be part of the JFedOC team and how your unique expertise can strengthen our ability to achieve the organization’s mission.
