Description

Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Analyzes results and performs design reviews. Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews. Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets. Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Works under minimal direction.

As a Senior Electrical Wiring Design and Integration Architect, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the design and integration of electrical wiring systems for complex projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to ensure the successful implementation of electrical wiring solutions. Your expertise in electrical engineering, wiring design, and integration will be crucial in developing efficient and reliable electrical systems.

* Electrical System Design: Develop and design electrical wiring systems for various projects, considering factors such as power requirements, safety regulations, and project specifications.

* Integration Planning: Collaborate with project teams to determine the integration requirements of electrical wiring systems with other components, such as control systems, sensors, and actuators.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

* System Optimization: Identify opportunities for system optimization, cost reduction, and improved efficiency in electrical wiring design and integration processes.

* Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and integration plans. Prepare progress reports and present findings to stakeholders.

* Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and verification of electrical wiring systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

* Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical wiring systems.

* Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges related to electrical wiring design and integration and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and failures.

* Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering, wiring design, and integration techniques, and apply them to improve processes and systems.

* Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations governing electrical wiring design and integration.
