Role:

L-Acoustics' Communications team tells authentic stories to external audiences, highlighting our mission, innovation, impact, and purpose. We are looking for a Media Relations Manager who will be responsible for PR strategy and Media Planning programs to broaden awareness of, and preference for, L-Acoustics technologies with audio/visual professionals, live event creators and audiences around the globe. Our audio technologies power the world's most prestigious events and enhance the listener experience.

You have a first experience managing press relationships; you have excellent writing skills and an ear for interesting narratives; can manage advertising plans, can collaborate with a variety of company partners from executives to engineers; and fit well within our organization of people who love live music and have an affinity for technology. You will report to the Director of Media Relations, based in France.

Responsibilities:Manage interview requests for the Americas-based team, provide information to journalists and host demos in our Westlake Village showroomMaintain long-term relationships with business, tech, industry and mainstream media to secure positive earned media coverageSupport the Media Relations Director and our communications agencies to develop press releases and thought leadership featuresAssist with organization of and handle on-site coordination at live event press junketsWith Media Relations Director, develop and execute global advertising plans that align with L-Acoustics business objectives and budget constraintsCoordinate with internal creative team to develop ad artwork for the global advertising programMonitor the performance of advertising campaigns across all platformsAnalyze key advertising metrics and provide regular reports to stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for optimizationQualifications

Bachelors degree in Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field3+ years of B2B or B2C technology media relations or media planning experienceExperience working with media in the technology and entertainment industries preferredExcellent personal presentation and networking skillsStrong analytical skills and the ability to translate date into actionable insightsAbility to develop clear and compelling written content, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiencesDetail oriented with strong project management and editing skillsBenefits:
