The Role

The

User Experience (UX) Specialist

is responsible for designing and optimizing the user experience of our software products. This role works closely with product management, technology, and a broad range of business stakeholders. The UX Designer will contribute to planning, designing, testing, and advancing the user experience, ensuring alignment with our product strategy and business goals.

Responsibilities

Advocate for the user by understanding their goals, needs, and behaviors through user research and data analysis.Create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency and adherence to design standards.Develop and maintain UX artifacts such as wireframes, prototypes, personas, journey maps, and user flows.Collaborate closely with product management, technology teams, and business stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience. Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.Design and deliver high-quality user interfaces, including detailed UI specifications and interaction designs.Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on design solutions. Ensure all designs are accessible and meet industry standards for usability and inclusivity.Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies, and apply them as necessary to enhance our products.Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and reviews, ensuring design and development alignment.Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers, stakeholders, and other team members effectively.Continuously improve and iterate on the design processes and tools used by the team to enhance productivity and quality.Location and Travel Details

This role sits remotely within the United States and requires occasional travel.

The Requirements:

5+ years' experience in UX Design and/or UX Research role.A strong portfolio highlighting a breadth of UX design work across web and mobile applications with clear end-to-end process (discovery > delivery) evident.Experience in a Customer Experience or Service Design role.Ability to design and develop strong experiences for responsive/adaptive web and native mobile applications.Ability to design experiences for multi-channel interactions or the enhancement of client service offering through digital touchpoints.Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary environments.Experience leading and/or observing user research and developing insights and recommendations from findings.Ability to articulate current trends in customer experience and service design thinking.Ability to articulate current experience trends in web design and mobile applications.Degree in relevant field or transferable experience.Knowledge of user-centered design principles, methodologies, best practices, and approaches, particularly as applied to web-and mobile-based applications.Commitment to constantly improve one's skills, staying current with developments and trends in the industry.Proven ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions.Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.Experience working in a consulting environment.Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.Experience with UX Design Tools Preferred, Such As
