Job Summary

The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (Alabama Extension) Communications, Marketing and Client Relations team is seeking applicants to join our team.

The ACES Creative Services Coordinator will coordinate production, printing and delivery of communications and marketing materials, apparel and other creative services projects. This role will work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure completed projects align with Extension guidelines and meet required specifications and deadlines.

The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is the outreach organization for the land grant mission of Auburn University and Alabama A&M University and Auburn University. Its educational programs grow from these two land grant university campuses to serve the people of Alabama. Essential Functions

Stay current on state bid laws and university printing and branding guidelines.

Work closely with project managers to coordinate the flow of creative services projects using the creative services workflow system to input print projects and track progress.

Work closely with print vendors and Extension stakeholders to obtain and provide print estimates for creative services projects and county office materials and coordinate the print production process.

Track printing and shipping of materials, ensuring they are on time and on budget.

Coordinate the review and approval process for Extension publications and materials to ensure they meet brand standards.

Manage an Extension storefront for apparel and other branded products.

Assist with invoice processing for creative services projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Level I

- High school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years experience in the printing industry, communication, and design. Experience in media marketing in the private or public sector.

Level II

- High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of relevant experience in the printing industry, communication, and design. Experience in media marketing in the private or public sector.

Substitutions allowed for Education: Indicated education is required; no substitutions allowed.

Substitutions allowed for Experience: When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.

Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications

Minimum Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of professional printing processes, paper stocks/types, product ordering and finishing options. Strong organizational skills for ordering, tracking, reporting, and cataloging a large number of projects.
