We Are Hiring for Guitar Teachers!Are you a passionate musician with a flair for teaching? DeTar Music Studios is seeking talented individuals to join our beautiful studio in Santa Barbara! Teach beginners through advanced children, teens, and adults.
At our studio, we're dedicated to fostering musical talent and nurturing the next generation of artists. Our state-of-the-art recording and rehearsal studio provides the perfect environment for both teaching and honing your craft.
Applicant Requirements:Expertise in guitar beyond basic proficiency. BA in Music, Conservatory-trained, or the equivalent.Proficiency in piano, drums, and/or vocals preferredPrior teaching experience preferredAbility to inspire and motivate students of all ages and skill levelsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProfessionalism and Dependability. Ability to commit to weekly lesson times throughout the year.Self-starter with the ability to organize and track your own lesson schedule.
Responsibilities:Teach engaging and informative music lessons for just a few hours a week or building up to full-timeCreate personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's goals and abilitiesProvide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improveFoster a supportive and encouraging learning environmentCommunicate with parents on student progress and practice plan
