Role Overview:

The candidate will perform design, analysis, verification, and validation of RF, Analog and Digital Circuits. The candidate will be capable of troubleshooting issues on a printed circuit board, use test instrumentation to verify and validate performance metrics that include the following but not limited to: S-Parameters, P1dB, Noise Figure, Channel Power, EVM measurements. The individual will understand PCB Design Process end to end from Schematic Capture, PCB Layout, PCB Fabrication and Assembly.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in circuit design, electronics test and measurement, schematic capture, and printed circuit board layout designExperience with electronic design tools such as Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, Altium Designer Design and Analysis of RF Cascades, Link Budgets, Noise Analysis: create thorough Circuit Design Models for RF Characteristics to be verified with test measurements+1 year of Altium Designer, Schematic Capture, PCB layout, Component Creation Deep Understanding of PCB layout and considerations for on board isolation, signal integrity, power integrityExperience with test instruments such as: Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer Experience with Low Noise Amplifiers, Power Amplifiers, Mixers, ADCs/DACs, Phased Locked Loops, Oscillators, FiltersFundamental understanding of concepts and measurements: S-Parameters, P1dB, Noise Figure, OIP3, Noise FigureCreate test plans and procedures for ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure) and Product/Component Qualification Campaigns

Preferred Qualifications:

Capable of soldering components on a printed circuit board, SMT components of size 0402, QFN PackagesExperience with GNU Radio, USRP’s, Digital Signal Processing, Antenna Design, Antenna Simulations, Antenna Measurements in a near-field/far-field chamber.

$90,000 - $140,000 a year
