RFI is a global technology solutions company, specializing in wireless coverage and solar power. We develop, manufacture, and distribute world-class, high performance, wireless products including antenna systems, rebroadcast and monitoring equipment, power systems and cabling and connectors.
Key responsibilities of this role includeParticipate in engineering activities, including equipment installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and documentation.Liaise with salespeople, end-user customers, equipment distributors, consultants, network.Preparation and costing of RF design proposals for:non-cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)AM/FM/VHF/UHF Rebroadcast SystemsMulticoupler combining, filtering solutions and antenna systemsConduct Radio Frequency (RF) cascade analysis and make recommendations for improvement/design.Digitally test Radio Frequency (RF) spectrum design to ensure viability.Integration with other subsystems - across a range of wireless technologies, but mostly focussed on the VHF/UHF two-way radio spectrum.
About youDegree qualified with three years plus experience in RF engineering activitiesKnowledge and experience in RF concepts, technologies and product applicationsExperience in two-way radio systems design, wiring small audio / data / cabling / connectors etcUnderstanding of multi-coupling, filtering solutions and antenna systemsExtensive computer experienceExperience with RF propagation or other RF engineering software tools idealAbility to liaise with sales, end users, distributors and network operatorsResults orientated and strong attention to detailStrong written / verbal communication skillsFlexibility to work outside hours
