Audiovisual Integration Drafter

The Drafter will assist in the development of audiovisual schematics and plans necessary for equipment installation. Majic Productions specializes in complex audiovisual systems that require detailed documentation for various trades and Majic installation staff.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with Design Engineers to facilitate plansUnderstand the overall expectations and timeline of the projectAble to understand various architectural and schematic drawingsMEP coordination documentation for bid & ConstructionCAD drafting of needed AV infrastructureSchematic wiring diagrams of system deploymentProject manual creation for the general contractorAs built document generation upon project completionOther duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years experience in providing electrical or low voltage plans & schematicsStrong experience with audio, video, lighting, and control systems in commercial applicationsKnowledge of construction documentation standardsRevit/CAD drafting experienceDtools experience preferredKnowledge of construction documentation and standardsStrong verbal and written communication skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent
