Responsibilities:This individual works to implement standardization, utilization, integration and optimization plans for clinical applicationsServes as the primary IT resource for design, implementation and support of Enterprise Reporting Initiative and database developmentHelp support the IT infrastructure including SharePoint, servers, data networks, and telecomProvides input to and customizes company policies and procedures, training, and best practices for use within the companyServe as a leader for complex reporting projects and will be expected to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneouslyParticipate in the development and refinement of Enterprise reporting strategy for the companyPerform other duties as assignedPractice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
Position Requirements:Prior experience & working knowledge of MEDITECH information systemsPrevious experience of testing information systemsKnowledge and proven experience with MEDITECH NPR Report Writer and/or Report DesignerKnowledge and proven experience writing complex MEDITECH Magic code to navigate MEDITECH data structures and interact with various output methodologies (i.e. Download, FTP, Spool)Responsible for design, development, testing, and implementation of database systems primarily in a Microsoft SQL Server environmentProficient using MS SQL Queries, stored procedures, and viewsExperience with Oracle Database environmentsResponsible for design, development, testing, and implementation of Enterprise Reports using Microsoft SQL Reporting ServicesAssists with defining report requirements and validating reporting resultsKnowledge of general network, security, and quality assurance testingProvides on-call assistance as needed
