We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior to Mid-Level Web Developer to join a dynamic team at the leading Health Insurance company in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Web Development using Java, Angular, and SQL, and will be eager to grow and expand their skills in a collaborative environment.
This role requires 3 days per week on-site in Center City, Philadelphia. We cannot accept C2C candidates!
Key Responsibilities:Develop and Maintain Web Application s: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java, Angular, and SQL to ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Team s: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.Database Managemen t: Write and optimize SQL queries to interact with relational databases, ensuring data integrity and security.Troubleshoot and Debu g: Identify and fix bugs, ensuring the functionality and usability of applications.Code Reviews and Best Practice s: Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for web development to maintain high code quality.Stay Current with Industry Trend s: Keep up to date with the latest web development technologies and best practices, bringing innovative solutions to the team.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.1-3 years of professional experience in web development.Proficiency in Java, Angular, and SQL.
Preferred Skills:Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
