About the Role:

The Confluent Global Partner Marketing Center of Excellence (COE) is chartered with building repeatable, scalable “with” and “thru” partner marketing programs with a priority set of global CSP, ISV, and SI partners with the goal of generating pipeline and revenue within both existing and net new customers.

What You Will Do:

Understand Confluent’s Brand, Land, and Expand campaign framework, messaging, target personas, customer journeys, and available content/assets.

Understand Confluent’s global priority CSP, ISV, and global/regional System Integration (SI) partners, including joint success metrics, joint value propositions, key content/assets, available programs/resources, etc.

Architect, build, evangelize, land, measure, and optimize “with” and “thru” partner marketing programs, with a particular focus on certain channels/tactic types supporting regional Field Marketing led plans. This may include digital, Confluent and/or partner run in-person or virtual conferences, 1 to many and 1 to few event series or stand-alone events, etc.

Ensure data and reporting mechanisms are in place to enable the proper audience targeting and program performance measurement.

Build, evangelize, and drive utilization of campaign briefs as well as detailed, integrated campaign playbooks, which may include the following: program KPIs, segmentation/targeting guidance, message map/joint value proposition, pre/during/post promotional strategies/tactics, long form assets (white papers, case studies, webinars), short form/promotional assets (blogs), down funnel CTAs, digital nurture flows, and Sales/SDR call scripts.

Regularly engage with Field Marketing stakeholders. Serve as strategic advisor on global partner marketing strategy, partners, programs, resources, and measurement to enable Field Marketing Managers to properly plan, execute, and optimize partner aligned campaigns. Surface and incorporate Field Marketing (and partner) feedback to enhance program effectiveness.

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 5+ years related experience in marketing at a B2B technology company.

Experience working with and/or for key players in the partner ecosystem, especially CSPs (such as AWS, Google, and Microsoft), ISVs (such as MongoDB, SAP, Snowflake, Databricks, ServiceNow), GSIs, and/or RSIs.

Proven track record of building and driving “with” and “thru” partner marketing programs/campaigns to build pipeline in net new logos and expanding usage within existing customer accounts.

Program management experience, including the development and management of program scope, budget, deliverables, timelines, etc. for multiple projects at the same time.

Proven ability to lead/work with cross-functional teams across Marketing (Global Campaigns, Digital, Strategic Events, Field Marketing, Marketing Operations, Customer Marketing, Data Science), Partner Sales, and the Partner Ecosystem.

Data-driven mindset with a history of delivering upon quantifiable outcomes.

Strong communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to present ideas in a simple, straightforward manner.

Ability to work productively and independently in a virtually setting.

What Gives You an Edge:

Comfortable operating in, and bringing clarity to ambiguous situations

Previously supported global and regional/country marketing strategy and plans

Marketed to both technical leadership and practitioner level personas, especially Application Architects and Developers

Ability to identify and address process inefficiencies, driving standards and optimizations to scale globally

Data analytics industry experience

Recent experience in high growth rate, SaaS based, consumption driven operating models, with Marketplaces as a key Route to Market

Expertise in leveraging enterprise class MarTech systems (i.e. Salesforce, Tableau, 6Sense, etc.)

We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $123,440- $163,170, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
