WJZ is looking for a Graphic Artist with TV experience to join our Creative Services team. Our candidate will create graphics for news, streaming, digital/social, and commercial projects.
REQUIREMENTS
The Graphic Artists primary responsibility will be to generate creative and dynamic graphics for local newscasts on linear and streaming platforms.
Works closely with the Group Design Team for template updates and alliances on major news stories and events
IATSE union membership required.
QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of experience creating graphics for a news or similar organization
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator
Ability to work on deadline while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communicator with an eye for visual design that aligns with brand and clarity of content.
Work with Chyron Camio and Luci products preferred, but not required.
Experience with AR/VR systems and software preferred but not required.
