Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager to drive product marketing and implement a global go-to-market strategy for Rakuten Advertising's product suite. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, you will play a crucial role in driving Rakuten Advertising’s growth, identifying new opportunities, influencing product strategy, and bringing our solutions to life. Our team’s mission is to generate customer insights that inform our product strategy, lead go-to-market planning and execution, develop impactful sales collateral, and serve as the voice of the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop buyer personas and messaging informed by user research, market insights, and product understanding.

Drive market, competitor, and customer research and analysis.

Own product marketing tasks for one or more products, including value prop, sales enablement, GTM planning, packaging, and customer adoption.

Develop sales enablement and GTM collateral, including email copy, pitch decks, one-sheets, talking points, and battle cards.

Manage the full GTM and launch planning activities for new products and features, partnering cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to successfully launch and drive adoption of new services/products/features.

Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and facilitate the execution of regional programs and initiatives.

Actively work with the influencer marketing team to develop and test hypotheses to hone GTM strategies.

Manage partner relationships to learn best practices, develop key tactics, coordinate launch activities, and drive ongoing activities to meet goals.

Key Requirements:

Education: BA/BS

3+ years of product marketing or related experience.

Experience in independent deliverable management, partner marketing, and small team management on a project-by-project basis with global technology companies.

B2B marketing and digital advertising technology experience preferred but not required.

Experience in the influencer marketing space, including platforms, networks, SaaS, agencies, and community platforms.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

Strong cross-functional and cross-geo communication skills.

Excellent ability to manage, prioritize, and organize tasks.

Proven ability to build strong working relationships cross-functionally and with team members.
